Time of sessions 19.00 to 20.30 (Fortnightly - 3rd, 17th & 31st October, 14th & 28th November)
The aim of this course is to introduce participants to the what, where, why, who, and when of Archaeology.
It will chart the history of the discipline, from antiquarian investigation to commercial archaeology; explain how archaeologists find sites, and what happens when we dig them; how we use the information to reconstruct life in the past; and address many of the problems faced in managing heritage.

Session 3 – Landscapes and Environment
Session 4 – Artefacts and Material Culture
Session 5 – Who Owns the Past?
